Souvenirplus proudly present our 13th digital release, this time from the rising French star Hamid.

The London-based producer dishes up three sultry deep house numbers to warm up these wintery nights. First up, is a true slow-burner, its title recalling Giorgio Moroder, but on Valium. A distant voice echoes just beyond reach, as if trapped within an ever expanding network of wood-panelled corridors, the insistent percussion providing no chance of an exit. ‘After The Darkness’ turns up the pressure, detuned synth lines and reverberating bassline providing a cloak of fog across the track. The final track provides a little tongue-in-cheek humour to the record, a minimal drumline suddenly erupting into a distorted version of one Arnie’s pre-Hollywood rants likening lifting weights to a constant feeling of orgasm.
